Slightly Sour Wild Little Thing – The Newest Addition to Sierra Nevada’s Year Round Lineup

Products

California based Sierra Nevada Brewing Company has recently released another addition to its year-round lineup. Wild Little Thing, not to be confused with Sierra Nevada’s popular hazy IPA, Hazy Little Thing, is a slightly sour ale that is very approachable for beer lovers and non-beer lovers alike. Brewed with hibiscus, guava, and strawberry, this extremely refreshing beverage gives off a hazy pink color that is very appealing to the eye. Its depth of fruit flavor, paired with a slight tartness, provides a nice balance for those people who tend to shy away from drinking sour beers. “By lightly souring Wild Little Thing and adding guava, hibiscus and strawberry, we created a beer that’s balanced, glowing, and full of interesting flavors, but still wildly drinkable,” said Sierra Nevada Brew master, Scott Jennings.

Clocking in at 5.5% ABV, Wild Little Thing can be purchased in 12oz six-pack cans, as well as draught. This new addition to the Sierra Nevada portfolio has some big shoes to fill to say the least. Sierra Nevada released this beer as a line extension of Hazy Little Thing, which debuted in 2018, and is now the #4 IPA in the United States. Wild Little Thing has built up a ton of momentum since its launch and has the potential to really make an impact in the industry.
